Fronted by two powerful shamisen (3-stringed Japanese lute) players who honor and modernize the tradition, the band is known for its live shows that are a visual and sartorial feast where the traditional meets the avant-garde. Since 2018, they have shared the stage with acts like Hiatus Kaiyote and were nominated for the German Record Critic\u2019s Prize for their album <em>Hazama<\/em> (2022).
