ZA! & TRANSMEGACOBLA

In this peculiar ensemble, Papadupau and Spazzfrica Ehd, the members of Za!, perhaps the most independent band on our scene, join forces with MegaCobla, a quartet of traditional cobla wind instruments formed by Pep Moliner, Jordi Casas, Xavi Molina, and Xavi Torrent; and Tarta Relena, the young and successful a capella trans-folk duo made up of Helena Ros and Marta Torrella. The result of such a meeting? A timeless and mutating orchestra that fuses traditional Mediterranean culture with the contemporary to create a universe that is fictitious yet deeply human and festive.
