Born in Barcelos, with an academic background at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, the Chelsea School of Art and Design and the Faculty of Letters of the University of Coimbra, Márcio Laranjeira has been part of Lovers & Lollypops since 2009, being one of the people responsible for the programming, conception and management of the Tremor, Barlos and Milhões de Festa festivals, the Edge European cooperation network, as well as a series of collaborations with institutions such as Casa da Música, CCB, Galeria Zé dos Bois, Municipality of Porto, Salão Brazil, among others. In addition to his experience as a programmer, he is also an agent for artists from the Lovers & Lollypops catalog, such as Boogarins, Sessa and Avalanche Kaito. Alongside this activity, he was a guest lecturer at the IPC's Postgraduate Course in Management in the Music Industries, responsible for the curricular units on Artistic Career Management and Event Agency and Production, a tutor in the European training program JUMP and has been coordinating the Music Business course at the Arda Academy in Porto since 2019.
