Since 2011, David Cordero has been creating delicate soundscapes and minimalist atmospheres using acoustic instruments, synthesizers, field recordings, effects, and tape processes. His work is defined by an introspective approach in which silence and texture become essential expressive elements. His extensive discography has been released on specialized labels around the world, including Archives (Spain), Past Inside The Present (U.S.), Dronarivm (Russia), PLOP (Japan), Lontano Series (Italy), Polar Seas (Canada), and the prestigious British label Home Normal.
Cordero has collaborated with artists such as Shuta Yasukochi, Kenji Kihara, Rhucle, Anthéne, Tomotsugu Nakamura, Niño de Elche, The New Raemon, McEnroe, Suso Saiz, Lela Soto, Ian Hawgood, Orthodox, and Pepo Galán, among others—building a network of collaborations that crosses styles and geographies. In addition to his personal projects, he has composed music for film, video games, art installations, and exhibitions, always exploring the relationship between sound, space, and emotion. His music has traveled across the world, reaching listeners in different countries who find in his compositions a place of calm, introspection, and everyday beauty.
