FIESTA RASO / HELSINKI PRO CLUB
Herminia Loh Moreno, better known as restinga, is a Hispano-Moroccan musician, producer, and DJ, born in Tetuán and based in Seville. With a solid career composing, producing, and performing her own songs, restinga has simultaneously developed a prominent DJ career since 2018, when she began making a name for herself in the local Seville scene with sets at venues such as Sala X, Malandar, and Electrolunch. Over time, she has expanded her presence in the national underground scene, performing at festivals like Monkey Week, emac., and Observatorio, as well as in iconic venues across various cities. She has played at Dabadaba (Donosti), Café Berlín (Madrid), and Razzmatazz (Barcelona) alongside the Dembooty collective, as well as at Sala Damas (Lisbon) with the Rabiosa and RAWA collectives.
In addition to her participation in festivals, restinga has been involved in sociocultural events such as the French Film Festival in Málaga, Vinarama, Orangerie, and Nonna’s Vintage, as well as the launch event for Cruzcampo, taking her sets beyond the club scene. Her musical proposal is a dynamic and immersive fusion that traverses genres such as afrobeat, favela funk, global bass, UK garage, and industrial reggaeton, combining powerful and vibrant rhythms with a unique energy on the dance floor. Influences from more traditional sounds, such as raï music and chaabi, also enrich her sets, evoking her North African roots and adding a deep cultural richness to her performances.
restinga builds a bridge between the past and the present, constantly exploring the hybrid identity that defines her, weaving a sound narrative in her mixes that reflects both her origins and the global diversity that inspires her work. As a producer, restinga has taken a further step in her career by composing a musical piece for the BINYA collection runway at Madrid Fashion Week 2023. Her work created an immersive and avant-garde sound atmosphere that perfectly complemented the brand’s aesthetic proposal at one of the country’s most important fashion events.
