PLEIT

Pleito is the solo project of Alba Aceytuno, saxophonist for bands like Aguayro and Rupatrupa, who is accompanied only by her saxophone, her voice, and various effects and loops. In this introspective journey, Alba creates a sonic universe that mixes the trance of circular breathing with lyrics that are pure "quarrel with everything" (pleito con todo). Her repertoire, besides addressing personal reflections, reinvents Canarian folklore songs, embracing melodies that connect her to her territory and culture. Pleito offers a minimalist, experimental, and deeply rooted proposal, where the instrumentation becomes a vehicle for introspection and catharsis.
