LAGOSS is a Canarian audiovisual project of Future Island Folklore, conceived as an imaginary sonic territory that fuses technology and tradition. Resulting from the meeting between Gonçalo F. Cardoso (Discrepant label) and electronic veterans Tupperwear, their work explores island mythologies (like San Borondón) and the echoes of exotic and spiritual music, generating landscapes that both amaze and unsettle the distracted listener. Since their debut, acclaimed by international critics (BBC, The Wire), LAGOSS has delineated its own language anchored to the Canary Islands. Following their collaboration with the band Nihilóxica on Island Slang (2025), the group continues its sonic immersion in the archipelago, bringing its vision of sonic archaeology and contemporary mythology to stages in Amsterdam, Lisbon, Berlin, Japan, and the United States.
