After seven years in the rock band La Mala Lengua, the Uruguayan musician Gonzalo Brancciari began his solo career with a search for a more intimate sound that culminated in his debut album, Diez (2023), which earned him a Graffiti Award for Uruguayan Music as Best New Artist. In addition to leading an intense South American tour with his band, Brancciari was chosen to open shows for major acts like EMI, La Beriso, and No Te Va Gustar's 30th-anniversary tour at the Vélez Sarsfield stadium, a milestone that was released as a live EP. He is currently recording his second studio album, co-produced with Nahuel Piscitelli, set for release in early 2025.
