An Argentine based in Barcelona, Belén Natalí always seems to sail between two shores, without faltering for a second. “Jacaranda,” her excellent debut EP, is a great example of this. Of course, when accompanied by colleagues like Ferran Palau and Santa Salut, and producers like Genis Trani, Hoss Benitez, or Enric Peinado (Big Menu), navigating the waters is always more enjoyable. After so much movement, in 2024, the Argentine artist has chosen first to dive into afrobeat rhythms in “Diluvio” and then settle into “Camping,” a track where bossa nova shines with a Mediterranean light.
