Percussionist, DJ, and producer Rafael Rodríguez, also known as Rafa Moout, has found the perfect moniker for his most personal project in the name Tiraya, after cutting his teeth in bands like Flora Dance, Cortadura, and Monteavaro. The Venezuelan needed only to take the name of the region where his maternal grandfather was born and unleash his energy in sessions that have turned events like RSPV (USA), 3000GRAD (Germany), Zubroffka (Poland), and the Carnavales in Tenerife upside down. Ever the restless spirit, Tiraya has collaborated with and remixed peers such as Baiuca, Zuaraz, Parquesvr, Ronroneo, and Blanco Palamera. After his “Fresquísimo” in 2021, he’s now gearing up for a new album!
