With DIY as their banner, electronics as their language, and the mysterious incident that occurred in Russia as the excuse for their name, Carlos and Deborah, Deborah and Carlos, form the two-headed pillar of Dyatlov. This duo is accustomed to battling in the dark with electropunk bursts, tons of industrial, and drone mantras sprinkled with synthwave. Just knowing the titles of their two releases so far, “Invitados en número perturbador” and “Tenía la rara virtud de no existir por completo,” makes it clear that we are dealing with a rare bird in our scene. And welcome it is.
